Andrew is a Research and Writing Attorney in the Hartford Office. Prior to joining the FDO in October 2018, Andrew was a litigation associate at Wiggin and Dana in New Haven and Sullivan & Cromwell in New York, specializing in white-collar criminal defense and complex commercial litigation. Andrew clerked for the Honorable Alvin W. Thompson, Senior United States District Court Judge for the District of Connecticut. During his years in private practice, Andrew dedicated hundreds of hours to pro bono representation of indigent clients, including in the areas of criminal defense, prisoner civil rights, veterans’ rights, and immigration. Andrew graduated from Yale Law School, and during law school interned for the U.S. Attorney’s Offices for the District of Connecticut and the Southern District of New York. He received a B.A. in History, magna cum laude, from Columbia University.
