Ross is an Assistant Federal Defender in the New Haven office. He was a Notes Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy while in law school. He also participated in Cornell's LGBT Communities Clinic where he advocated for people seeking basic medical care while incarcerated and for a Jamaican woman seeking asylum in removal proceedings. Following his graduation from law school, Ross served as a staff attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and as a law clerk to the Honorable Vanessa L. Bryant, United States District Court Judge. He graduated from Columbia University with a BA in European History and spent his junior year enrolled in St. Peter’s College, Oxford University as a part of Columbia’s Oxbridge Scholars Program. Ross graduated cum laude from Cornell Law School.
