Darcey has been an Investigator in the New Haven office since 1993. She is responsible for all aspects of criminal investigations pertaining to the charges our clients face. Prior to joining the FDO she was an investigator for State Public Defender offices in New Haven, Meriden, Manchester and Hartford for ten years. She developed her investigative skills while working with a private investigator for several years. Darcey has been a member of National Defender Investigator Association since 1984 and was the Northeast area Director of NDIA from 1991-1993. She has attended numerous training sessions with the Connecticut State Police and at NDIA. Darcey has been an integral part of the Federal Support Court program since its inception in 2009 with the first program in Bridgeport. For years she served as one of the FDO’s representatives in all three Support Courts in the district, and continues to serve in New Haven and Hartford Support Courts each week. Darcey has a BS degree in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University.
